Solomon Amabo is a bilingual investigative journalist fluent in both English and French. He has previously worked as a liaison officer for Fray Intermedia, a South Africa-based media organization, and as the Communications Director for BFG Consulting and Services, a mining consultancy firm in the Republic of Guinea.
Additionally, Solomon has served as the erstwhile Deputy Editor at Equinox Radio and Television in Douala, Cameroon, and published the Eyewitness Newspaper. He has also been a guest blogger for the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and an intern with Reporters Without Borders (RWB) in Sweden. Solomon has also served as a Diagnostic Editor and Technical Writer for Volvo Cars Sweden, and later as an Internal Communications Officer for Lynk & Co, a mobility brand also based in Sweden. He is passionate about technology innovation, and sustainability and has skills in public relations and marketing.
Solomon Amabo is a fellow of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) in Ethiopia and has received the fully funded Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals, SISGP. He holds an MSc in Investigative Journalism from the University of Gothenburg.
